Benefits Of Cycling

Cardio exercises are gaining popularity day by day because of the many benefits that it offers to the individual. It makes your heart stronger, keeps your body toned, help in losing weight, increases blood supply and oxygen supply and above all is easy to perform.

There are different cardio exercise namely swimming, jogging, running, aerobics, cycling, walking, jumping and many more. Cycling is an effective and enjoyable exercise that will provide you with many benefits. These benefits are listed below:

1. Good for heart and health: Cycling is not only good for your health but for your heart as well. A good heart is the key to healthy life. With cycling the blood supply to the body is increased as well as your heart rate increases. It is because of this reason that heart diseases are reduced greatly or risk of having any is avoided to a greater extent. Risk of High blood pressure, diabetes and obesity is also reduced.

2. Weight loss: Cycling helps in burning excess fats resulting in weight lose. The energy that is required by the calories to burn is provided when you cycle regularly so make cycling a habit of yours!

3. Change in mood: Cycling, just like other forms of exercise, is known to release endorphin which is known to cause pleasure in you and thus wash away the bad mood. It is because of this that one feel relaxed and refreshed even after a heavy workout. With cycling you will feel positive change in your mood as well. Also, moderate exercises such as cycling are known for relieving stress or depression and helps in improving self-esteem and mood.

4. Strength and coordination is maintained: If you cycle regularly you will be less likely to get severe injuries such as fracture during a fall or if involved in an accident. According to research, cycling and other related exercises, that keeps one physically fit, when older are less likely to get hip fractures.

5. Fitness level improved: It is researched that even a small exercise can help in gaining fitness significantly. The strength of the legs is also improved with cycling regularly. As your strength of legs is increased, one is less likely to get injuries or fractures after a fall.

These are some benefits of exercising regularly. Just make sure to wear protective gears to avoid any injury in case of any accident.

Kayuhan Mesra Jitra 2009

Bertolak dari rumah jam 4.30 pg... Yg seronoknya member yg. bini dia tolong hantar pukul 4.15 pg. ke rumah aku kata apa tau...Dia kata "Abg lan tahu basikal punya pasal Man sanggup bangun kul 4.00 pg..kalu subuh jenuh gerak"... basikal punya penangan.. Aku senyum saja..Apapun yg lima waktu kena diutamakan. Itu yang membezakan kita dengan orang lain.. Pukul 6.00 pg sampai kat Jitra. Ramai yang dok port kat kedai nasi kandar... Sembahyang Subuh dalam stor.. penuh ngan tepung , parpu , bawang dll... x kisah janji kita bertemu denganNya dan berdoa semoga selamat kayuhan kita pada hari ni... Pendek cerita... tamat semua check point pd jam 11.15 pg ... kira ok la bg orang tua mcm. aku.. cabutan bertuah dapat minyak rantai setin ... OK la tu.. ingatkan nak dapat TV 29''... Gambar kayuhan tak banyak kali ni.. tu pun x sempat nak edit lagi

BM Mountaicross...

Lama dah aku tak jenguk blog aku ni... kira sekali harung la.... Cakap pasal Bukit Mertajam mountaincross 2008 .. ramai yang mengeluh. Banyak tolak basikal dari kayuh. Mungkin sebab terlalu ramai riders.. sedangkan kebanyakan tempat adalah single track. Dan lagi satu rasanya masa kenalpasti trek dia orang guna motocross bukan mountainbike... kebanyakan trek bukan untuk kayuhan rasanya... Goodies ntara terbaik pernah dapat.. tapi trek kurennng.. sebab pada aku kebanyakan yang kayuh ni kebanyakkannya nak enjoy bukan cari susah... especially yang dah berumur sikit

Kayuhan Perdana Tasek Gelugor ke Alor Setar

Dalam hujan renyai-renyai (3/01/09) kami mulakan kayuhan jam 8.45 pagi walaupun asalnya dijadualkan pada 7.15 pg. Mulanya ada 43 riders yang daftar nama tapi pada pagi sebenar hanya 34 saja yang muncul.. mungkin sebab hujan lebat awal pagi tadi.. atau ada hal lain. Diketuai oleh 2 orang sahabat yang akan cuba mengelilingi dunia dan memecahkan rekod yang sedia ada pada 5.5.09 nanti sebagai pendahulu. Lupa pulak ... kayuhan ni sebenarnya dianjurkan oleh UMNO bahagian Tasek Gelugor. Sepanjang kayuhan hari ni sangat-sangat enjoy, dengan support team dan kawalan polis yang baik. Sepanjang kayuhan semua riders sporting... kaki lawak pun ramai.. Setelah penat kayuh diberi pula kemudahan untuk rehat di KEMAS Alor Setar siap dengan bilik dan katil... Basikal balik dengan lori.. Kami pulak dengan bas ..... kalau ikut aku punya Velo 8 meter reader... jarak kayuhan ialah 105 km... lebih kurang la ... mana pulak nak pi lepas ni tak tau lagi...

Taiping Jamboree 2008

Alhamdulillah dapat habiskan... lebih kurang 71 km rasanya... Rasanya kalau nak habiskan satu-satu event yang penting mesti tanamkan tekad .. aku mesti habiskan ride kali ini... baru boleh. Kalu tak alamat la. Lagi satu kayuh ikut keupayaan(maklum la.. dah tua...) jangan ikut kawan. Kalau kawan kita tu macam kerbau, kita pula macam kambing.. jangan dok "gagah"(bahasa orang utara) yang penting habis... The best part dalam jamboree ni kita akan dapat kawan yang kadang-kadang kita tak sangka di tengah hutan...

Masalah Kejang Otot dah settle..

Nampaknya aku punya problem kejang otot dah OK.. Cuba cari punca dalam internet.rupanya kurang kalsiun dan vitamin D. So right now aku ambill vitamin dan pharmaton + minum susu anlene malam-malam. 2 jamboree yang kebelakangan ni nampak OK...
